The Friday dress* is back for one last Friday. I’m getting a little tired of this particular dress and this project. The two panels of fabric sewn together create a seam at the waist that slips below my belt every time I wear it. I’m constantly tugging at it throughout the day. It was only a little annoying at first but now I just feel self-conscious when I wear it. It’s been nice having a Friday uniform, but I think it’s time for a change.
My belt is a bright pink and white scarf that was my grandmother’s and I’m wearing some pink loafers from Steve Madden, purchased many years ago at the Famous Footwear where I worked in high school.
If you click the image, you can see the seam slippage and the new design I installed today. It’s the High Res theme by JSTN. I’ve been meaning to redesign to accomodate larger images for months and I finally did it today.
Sorry for the bitchface, but I guess that’s what I look like when I stare at the sun.

No Friday dress today because I was too busy wearing a jumpsuit and moving my desk to a new, fantastic office. After moving boxes and heavy furniture around in the sun, team XOXCO went swimming at Barton Springs and now I’m beat.

Friday dress* time! Today I decided to wear my black vest over the dress, which always gives me a Han Solo vibe. The last time I owned a vest I wore regularly, I was in first grade. The vest was made wholly out of white lace.
I took the photo from a high angle so you could see my bright yellow shoes. True story: these are the shoes I wore on my wedding day. They got mixed reviews from the guests but I love them.
My hair has achieved triangularity, which pleases me.
