My brother-in-law, Alex, just returned from a musical cross-country tour. He clocked over 10,000 miles driving in a van, plus the unknown miles they flew to places like Anchorage, Alaska. They drove through Nashville five times. And he got his hair braided in cornrows along the way.
Last time he went on a long tour, he came back with a mustache. I can’t wait to see what he comes back with next!

Last weekend I was fortunate to attend Mighty Summit, a retreat weekend organized by Maggie Mason and Laura Mayes. It was three days filled with drinking, eating, chatting and laughing too loudly at poop jokes. I made a bunch of new friends and I learned a lot.
