I think it was haphazard but I really like the color palette created by the letters of this marquee. By the way, the Golden Slipper, namesake of this plaza, is the tiniest shop of all the shops listed here.

This afternoon I watched Being Elmo, a documentary about Kevin Clash, the man behind Elmo. As a result, for several hours I’ve had the song “Man or Muppet” stuck in my head:
Am I a man or am I a muppet (am I a muppet)
If I’m a muppet then I’m a very manly muppet (a very manly muppet)
Am I a muppet (muppet) or am I a man (am I a man)
If I’m a man that makes me a muppet of a man (a muppet of a man)
Then! Brett McKenzie won an Oscar for the song! It’s so perfectly silly, how fantastic that it won such a big fancy award.

IBM used to give these leather-bound THINK pads out to their employees before they made laptops. Ben’s grandfather, a former IBM salesman, gave him a few that are in mint condition.
