A couple of remarkable things happened tonight when I met my friend Holley for dinner tonight. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, a pick-up truck pulled wildly into the gas station directly across the street, striking one of the three police cars parked there. Soon 20 emergency vehicles were lining the street.
I haven’t been able to find the whole story online anywhere yet, but there were news cameras pointed at the scene when we left. I hope no one was injured.As we were finishing up big fat raindrops began to fall and soon it began to pour. It lasted for as many as ten minutes.
UPDATE: I’m very sorry to say that an elderly woman was killed in this accident. By her son no less. Read more here.
