I haven’t had the unique pleasure of using one of these sit-down hairdryers since I was 6-years-old. Back when I got my hair permed regularly.
Speaking of hair-related objects! I got some hot goss at the salon this afternoon: Farouk Shami, who is currently running for Governor of Texas, and who is always described as a Houston businessman, made his millions selling Chi irons! I’ve seen the man’s ads all over my internet lately, but I never knew the provenance of his fortune. Now I do, now you do.

JasPer isn’t the only one who visited the salon yesterday. If you’re wondering about the crystals, I have no idea. Maybe they give off good hair energy? But it is interesting that each mirror has an outstretched curly cue of an arm to hold its crystal. Was it designed with dangling crystals in mind? Is there a salon mirror designer out there with a real passion for crystals? I do not know, but that’s what I was thinking about while having my hair dyed a slightly darker brown than what you see in the photo above.
