Yesterday evening I decided to pull up all of the carrots in my garden. I hadn’t had much luck with them so far, they weren’t getting big enough. The first ones I pulled were the Chantenay Red Core,the tiny ones you see on the left, so I was really surprised when I got to the Berlicum 2’s, the bigger ones on the right. They were sizable enough to have been found in the produce section of my grocery store!
All of that time (minutes a day!) I spent watering and fertilizing them wasn’t a waste after all.
